Mass Effect: Andromeda: Open World?

The game’s producer has answered the question.

Mike Gamble told the Official Xbox Magazine the following: „I definitely wouldn’t call Andromeda an open-world game. We like to use the term ‘exploration-based game.’ You still have the concept of tight story deliverance and all the great things you come to expect with Mass Effect.”

That sentence makes Andromeda similar in its structure to the original trilogy. There may be some simple point A to point B missions, but sometimes, we could stray off the path and say, discover some planets with the Nomad that replaces the Mako.

We’d only like to see if Mass Effect: Andromeda‘s charm will be as good as the original three games’ – the answer will be revealed on March 21 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
