Injustice 2 Will Have A „Premium Currency” [VIDEO]

You can buy some items for money, but not everything! You will not receive an advantage by being wealthy.

NetherRealm has announced that Injustice 2 will have a premium currency called Source Crystals. You can only acquire these by spending money, and you cannot buy gear with it – just cosmetical changes can be purchased for the DC universe’s characters. You can use these crystals to make your gear look like another one. For example, if you managed to find the perfect setup for your character but dislike the way he or she looks, you can switch it to something else while keeping the statistics and buffs the „previous” gear had.

If your main character reaches level 20, you can spend the crystals to level up your other preferred characters to this level as well, but it is optional. Purchasing Premiere Skins can change your character’s look (for example, turn Supergirl into Powergirl), without the stats being changed, meaning it’s still just a cosmetic touch.
