Is The Evil Within’s Sequel In Development?

Oh, the things we can learn via a simple job listing.

On the NeoGAF forums, a job listing showed up for PSYCHOBREAK2, which is probably developed by the same team who did the first one, Tango Gameworks. As Psycho Break was the Japanese name of Shinji Mikami’s (Resident Evil!) The Evil Within about two and a half years ago, this project would be the sequel, and the devs are looking for a translator and a Q&A bug reporter for the time frame between April 10 and October 31.

As Bethesda, the publisher has said last year that The Evil Within sold well enough to warrant a sequel, seeing Shinji Mikami work on it would make sense. However, seeing how the job would end in late October could mean that The Evil Within 2 could get an E3 reveal, followed by a late 2017 release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC. That’d be great.
