Outlast 2: The Australian Antics Might Be Over

Will Red Barrels‘ game be available Down Under as well?

Outlast 2 has managed to be refused by the Australian rating board, and it seemed last week that it would not receive the highest possible, R18+ rating in the country. We were completely wrong! On their site, Outlast 2 has shown up, and it seems the game will be available a day after the worldwide release, meaning the Australian gamers can pick it up from April 26.

Usually, initially banned games are allowed into the country after they receive some adjustments (such as cutting out sexual violence). However, the developers told Press Start that Outlast 2 has a single version throughout the world. Huh.

When the Australian rating board publishes their report regarding Outlast 2, we will update the article.
