Overwatch: Something Will Happen Next Week [VIDEO]

One teaser, one day, and some hype – Blizzard’s team-based FPS is back in our news.

It’s unlikely that a new character will be added – Orisa hadn’t even been added to the game a month ago, so it’s likely that Blizzard is preparing another event, which seems to be a common thing in Overwatch. The teaser mentions April 11 – we will learn what Blizzard is planning, or the event might start on that day. We don’t know the answer yet. It doesn’t seem to be an Easter event, though; Jeff Kaplan, the game’s director, has stated previously that they won’t do Valentine’s day or Easter events.
Renaud Galand, the lead character designer, was so excited on Facebook that he believes it’s „one of the best things” that the studio has ever done since their formation. Huh. We’ll see about that next week.
(Also, an interesting tidbit: the video below says April 12, while the Overwatch Twitter account mentions April 11. Timezone differences…?)
