Jak And Daxter Move To The PlayStation 4 [VIDEO]

The duo jumps from two to four.

On the PlayStation Blog, we read that four games are moving over from PlayStation 2 to PlayStation 4: aside from Jak and Daxter, Jak II, Jak 3, and Jak X is all getting ported over to the current console, which means the usual 1080p upscale resolution and trophy support. Share Play, Remote Play, and Activity Feeds will also be supported, although some of these functions will need a PlayStation Plus subscription.

Jak X would be playable for the first time since its 2005 PS2 release on a different platform, so if you have played the trilogy on the PS3 (yep… let’s not go into further details here), you’ll still find something new in the Store. Unfortunately, it will have no online, meaning that you will only get split screen multiplayer for Jak X

The four games will be available from later this year. Can we expect a new episode? (After all, Sanzaru’s Sly Cooper game in 2013 had a Jak and Daxter easter egg… hmm.)
