The Candy Crush Developer Is Working On A Call Of Duty Game!

King, the makers of Candy Crush, has formed a new team in Stockholm, Sweden, which is assigned to develop a Call of Duty game (!) for mobile platforms!

Quoting their website, their „challenge as a team is to create a Call of Duty experience on mobile that will strive to transform the best console experience fans know and love, while also breaking new ground for mobile and redefining the genre.” The team wants to „think outside the box” while being authentic altogether.

It won’t be an easy task, and due to the target platforms, we’re afraid that you’d have to pay for the ammo, or the stronger/precise guns might be ending up behind a paywall. Let’s hope that King can prove us wrong in the end.

Anikó, our news editor and communication manager, is more interested in the business side of the gaming industry. She worked at banks, and she has a vast knowledge of business life. Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
