The game, which was crowdfunded on Kickstarter, has already been confirmed to be split into two portions: first, we’re going to get the 1v7 asymmetric multiplayer (with three maps: Camp Crystal Lake, Higgins Haven, Packanack Lodge), followed by the single player campaign. Well, the multiplayer half of the game has been confirmed to arrive on May 26 digitally for 40 dollars/euros on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

What about the single player, you ask? No worries: this is going to drop sometime during the summer in the shape of a free update – the pricing now seems all more understandable, although paying up early for this half of the game could be risky.
…the trailer? Oh, it has Jason killing a few unlucky people in an extremely brutal manner.
