Project 7: We Learned A Few New Details About The Mysterious Remedy Game

Thanks to a press release, we learned a bit more about Project 7.

You can read that here, but let’s get into it. It is going to be a cinematic, third-person action game, which will be published by 505 Games, who will also give 7.75 million euros to Remedy to support the budget, and they will also handle marketing, as well as the physical/digital release. In return, 505’ll take 45% of net profit.

The game will utilize the in-house made Northlight engine in a new world, and Remedy promises a game structure with a long-lasting experience, plus that Project 7 will have the deepest game mechanics yet in a Remedy game. (This sounds like PR talk – until we see the game in action, we take it with a grain of salt.)

Project 7 was announced in April, and it is going to be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. No release date is known yet.
