PlayStation 4: A Price Cut In The US For A Week?

A… temporary price cut?

Yesterday, we wrote about how the golden PlayStation 4 Slim could be launching by June 11 for a decent price of 250 dollars. However, USA Today‘s reports says that „select” PlayStation 4 consoles will see a 50-dollar price cut between June 9 and June 17. Also, software and accessories would also see their cost dropped for the following week in the United States.

The price cut means the 250-dollar PlayStation 4 Slim could be widespread, which looks a much more competitive price than the 300$ original one. The Japanese company might be afraid of Microsoft’s E3 conference, and this price cut could be their way of garner attention for the following week.

Will they do this price chop in Europe as well?
