Phil Spencer About Gamescom, Xbox One X, And Developers

Gears of War’s and Halo’s developers are working on their next games.

The Xbox-boss said a few things on Twitter – he confirmed that Xbox One X pre-orders wouldn’t be a problem, as Microsoft is working on this issue. By the end of the summer, we’ll also learn what other games will support the stronger console, and the marketing will point out the graphical differences between the Xbox One and the X variant. The original Xbox games will not have achievements (as they would need patching), and they will run just like the OG console, which means most titles would be running in a 4:3 aspect ratio. He also said that Microsoft would attend Gamescom, and they will reveal more details about their plans regarding the event starting on August 22 shortly.

In his interview with Famitsu (source: WCCFTech), Spencer also confirmed that The Coalition (Gears of War) and 343 Industries (Halo) are working on their next projects.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
