Cyberpunk 2077… With Journalists!

CD Projekt RED‘s new details about the game are… interesting?

Mike Pondsmith, who created the original tabletop RPG in 1988, is a consultant in CD Projekt RED‘s game adaptation. He told GameReactor that we could be journalists or executives in the game: „Yes, you can. They’re all going to be there, but I can tell you’re going to find some surprises about how we’ve done it and I think you’re going to like it. There’s a lot of subtlety going on there. Adam (Kiciński, CD Projekt RED’s President, and co-CEO) and I spent literally like a whole week messing with the ways of implementing that, so you get the most feel for your character.”

The nine classes/roles in the original tabletop RPG are Cop, Corporate, Fixer, Media, Netrunner, Nomad, Rockerboy, Solo, Techie, and Med-Tech. Let’s hope that CD Projekt RED can implement all of them in Cyberpunk 2077

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
