Dexter’s And Dishonored’s Composer Passed Away [VIDEO]

Daniel Licht‘s work isn’t known by just gamers.

Licht has made music for several games: Silent Hill: Book of Memories, Silent Hill: Downpour, Dishonored, Dishonored 2. Those who are into series might know his name via Dexter, where he used knifes and human bones (!) to create the soundtrack to be close to the series’ topic as possible. Movies? Hellraiser: Bloodline, or Thinner by Stephen King.

Dexter’s star, Daniel C. submitted a statement to Hollywood Reporter. It says the following: „I am so saddened to learn of Dan’s passing. His music quite literally set the tone for Dexter. I’m fortunate to have known Dan, as his talent was matched by his kindness.”

Daniel Licht has been fighting sarcoma for years, but it got the better of him at the age of sixty. May he rest in peace and let us remember his work with two of the most significant songs he created.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
