PlayStation VR Receives „Price Cut!”

You’ll be able to buy the virtual reality headset cheaper than before in just a few days.

On VG247, we read that Sony confirmed that the North American region would get the PlayStation VR price cut from September 1. The 400 dollar bundle will now have the headset, as well as the PlayStation Camera, which was formerly available separately. This is going to be the core bundle from now on, so while the price stays, the bundle will contain more than before. The other bundle, which also has two Move controllers and a demo disc, will now be 450 dollars.

With this move, titles such as Gungrave VR might garner some extra interest. This Iggymob development will be based on the PlayStation 2 original, making it a „cinematic action shooter game.” It will launch in Japan on PlayStation VR this year, followed by other VR-headsets, maybe in the West, too.

Sony also announced that their pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference, which will be streamed on YouTube, will start on September 17, at 4 PM JST – 12 AM Pacific, 3 AM Eastern, 9 AM CET. Maybe we will hear more about games like Gungrave VR!
