Middle-Earth: Shadow of War: The Dev And The Publisher Will Not Profit Off Of The Forthog Orc Slayer DLC [VIDEO]

The DLC, which is featuring a deceased employee of Monolith, has become part of an argument.

Previously, we wrote how Mike Forgey, who was defeated by cancer, is going to live on in Shadow of War in the form of a DLC. It is going to cost 5 dollars (4 GBP), but here’s the twist. Eurogamer reports that Warner has published a statement. Quote follows: „Neither Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment nor Monolith Productions will profit from any sales of the Forthog Orc-Slayer DLC regardless of the territory in which that DLC is sold.” They didn’t clarify why a few US states are exempt from the offer, but it looks like Warner will donate 3.5 dollars after each purchase of the DLC. (You can support Forgey’s family directly here.)

Here’s also a new video, which introduces the Dark Tribe. This group, as well as everyone else, will show up on your screens from October 10, when Middle-Earth: Shadow of War will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
