Forza Motorsport 7: Microsoft And Turn 10 In Crossfire Due To VIP!

Microsoft and Turn 10 burned themselves so hard that they had to change the description of the VIP membership!

Forza Motorsport 7 is available for those already who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition on Windows 10 and Xbox One. After Turn 10 getting attention negatively due to „loot boxes,” they now in the crossfire due to the VIP membership. Originally, the store had the following description: „Exclusive cars Mods Driver Gear and more await with Forza Motorsport 7 VIP membership! Forza Motorsport 7 VIP members receive exclusive VIP cars. VIPs will receive additional benefits including 100% CR bonus Mods VIP Driver Gear and more. Get your VIP membership today!”

At the time of writing this article, 108 reviews have an average of 1.2 stars out of 5, as the 25 dollar membership only offers double credits for just 25 races instead of every race, as was the case in the older Forza games (and the description didn’t help either…). Here’s one of the many angry reviews: „I was a VIP member for FM5, and I remember getting 100% CR bonus for every race. Now it’s only limited? How can you scam people out of 25 dollars extra for something that has been an unlimited thing since VIP started? Change this immediately, or I’m thinking of getting a refund and buying the original version back. Turn 10 needs to compensate for this “cell phone game” gimmick.”

How did Microsoft change the description? „Forza Motorsport 7 VIP membership features exclusive rewards you can’t get anywhere else! Forza Motorsport VIPs receive exclusive VIP cars, VIP Driver Gear Suits, as well as five 100% CR bonus Mod cards (five uses each per card), and more. Get your VIP membership today!” It’s too late!

Forza Motorsport 7 will launch on October 3 for everyone on Windows 10 and Xbox One.
