The game, which has been in development for a while, received so much money that it’s frightening to write down that amount!

Chris Roberts‘ game managed to get 160 million, 258 thousand, and 309 dollars from 1 million, 884 thousand, 483 users. Of course, the donors receive ships for their financial support, but don’t worry: you will be able to buy them normally with in-game currency, whenever the game’s persistent universe launches.

Let’s stop for a moment though: 160 million dollars in five years! That’s outstanding! Sure, the game will use tech like facial recognition technology (which we wrote about previously), but it’s still such a high amount that we cannot even imagine!

Star Citizen got a new Around the Verse video, which shows the usable items that you can use for interaction. For example, you’ll be capable of sitting down. Star Citizen launches at an unknown date.
