Valkyria Chronicles 4: The 1935 Battles [VIDEO]

SEGA continues the series, and they announced a Western release simultaneously with the Japanese one.

We’re in 1935, in the second European war, which is still happening between the Atlantic Federation and the Autocratic Eastern Imperial Alliance. The story concentrates on the capturing of the eastern group’s capital. The combat system, the BLiTZ, which is part top-down view turn-based strategy, part real-time TPS, is going to be overhauled. The Grenadier will be a new class, and there will also be a Last Stand option for us to attack before we bit the bullet for good. The entire game will continue to use the CANVAS graphical engine, which keeps the hand-drawn visual style. The music will be handled by Hitoshi Sakimoto (Valkyria Chronicles, Final Fantasy XII, Vagrant Story, Tekken 6…).

There’s also an announcement trailer, which is five and a half minutes long – that’s massive. SEGA will launch the game in Japan on March 21 on PlayStation 4, followed by a Switch port in the Summer. The Western audience will receive the game in 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
