Final Fantasy XV: The Near-Future Plans [VIDEO]

New information surfaced regarding Episode Ignis, the December update, as well as the 2018 plans. Final Fantasy XV is now one year old!

Let’s go through a chronological order: Episode Ignis, if we only follow its story, will take roughly two hours to complete, but then, another route will open up, which is eventually leading to a difficult boss fight. We’ll also have the chance to fight Noctis! The DLC is out on December 13 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The December update will allow you to swap between characters through the main story, which means you can take control of Noctis, Gladiolus, Prompto, and Ignis as well. More strategy and variety is always welcome!

In 2018, things will be slightly different. The game’s director, Hajime Tabata, would like to launch at least (!) three Episode DLCs, and the first one would be featuring Ardyn. However, he knows that the fans would like Luna to receive the same treatment. Next year, Square Enix plans to launch the new content to make them sufficient on their own, while also giving those players who have already completed a game a reason to maybe come back to it.
