PlayStation Vita Turns Six!

Sony didn’t forget about the successor to the PlayStation Portable.

December 17, 2011 – the day when the PlayStation Vita was released in Japan. It didn’t become as successful in the West as its rival, the Nintendo 3DS. However, Sony still supports the handheld in the local, Japanese market, and they even wished the Vita a happy birthday on Twitter, asking the users what their favorite game is.

Although the PS Vita was almost entirely ignored in the past years, it still gets ports: Papers, Please, Stardew Valley, or 2046: Read Only Memories, to name a few. (Attack on Titan 2 is also getting a PlayStation Vita version… but it will not be available in the Western regions.)

Happy birthday, Vita!

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
