Monster Hunter: World Sets More Records!

Capcom‘s game keeps pulling in more and more results.

The Japanese publisher announced that the game, which launched over a month ago on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, including both digital and physical sales/shipments, is now at 7.5 million copies! The franchise’s newest installment, which launched outside a Nintendo platform for the first time since 2006, has become Capcom‘s best-selling title! In Japan – according to the latest Media Create sales charts – it almost sold two million copies, and in that country, Monster Hunter: World is a PlayStation 4-exclusive… and we didn’t even consider the fact that it is getting a PC port this autumn.

So Capcom‘s game is unstoppable, and it managed to get mainstream attention worldwide, which wasn’t the case with the previous Monster Hunter games. Congratulations.
