Dark Souls‘ re-release will get a server test on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One shortly.
From Software announced that Dark Souls, which was brought over to the current console generation, is going to be free to play during the server stress tests. However, the Europeans might be in a little tight situation as this region got no concrete information yet while Japan and North America have.
North America will have the tests run on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 11 and 12 from 6 PM to 12 AM Pacific. Europe however, got no dates yet, which means the tests could be held at the same time as across the pond (which means it’d be May 12 and 13, from 2 AM UK/3 AM CET until 8/9 AM…). If we’re lucky, the time frame would be the same as in North America, and a 6 PM – 12 AM CET test would sound reasonable. (The Nintendo Switch is in an even worse situation: the tests will be held „at a later date.”)
Dark Souls Remastered will launch on May 25 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
