Is Remedy’s Project 7 Quantum Break 2?

Could it be that the Finnish team has been working on Quantum Break‘s sequel all along?

We have known for a while that Remedy, who previously made the first two Max Payne games, as well as Alan Wake, is developing a multiplatform title codenamed Project 7, which will be shown at E3 (and maybe it will get properly named there, too). Now, let’s tie H. R. Nikoofar’s Twitter post, which says he „knows by the fact that Remedy is working on Quantum Break 2.”

Nikoorfar is the founder of Gameology, but he has also worked as a game designer, soundtrack composer, sound designer, as well as director for a few films. The Finns might have asked him to work on something for their game, and he might know what they are doing.

Of course, this is far from an official announcement, but if Remedy is indeed working on Quantum Break 2, we’d be surprised – the first game wasn’t that memorable…

Anikó, our news editor and communication manager, is more interested in the business side of the gaming industry. She worked at banks, and she has a vast knowledge of business life. Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
