After the Failure of The Order: 1886, Ready At Dawn’s De-formers Is a Flop Too

The game’s servers are closing in August.

The authors of The Order: 1886 say it is the best thing to work on their future projects.

The scant success of De-formers, the colorful multiplayer action game developed by the authors of The Order: 1886, has led the Ready at Dawn team to announce the closure of its servers on August 9, putting an end to his commercial journey by PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

“As painful as it sounds, we had to take a very difficult but necessary decision when it became clear that De-formers is not economically viable in the West and Europe,” the development team reports. “This decision will allow us to offer a better gaming experience in our other titles, and also allow us to continue offering new and exciting games in the future.”

Closing the De-formers servers will not prevent fans from enjoying the game alone in this multiplayer action title. Also, Ready at Dawn is offering free all the contents created in Workshop.

To date it is unknown what new project the authors of De-formers have embarked on, although months ago it was confirmed that Ready at Dawn is working on a new franchise that could be presented in the coming weeks, coinciding with E3 2018.

Let’s hope, that it will be more “ready at dawn.”
