Shenmue I & II: Final Release Date Leak?

Although we already expected the first two games’ re-release to happen before the long-awaited Shenmue III drops, we can now add a release date on our calendars for them.

CogConnected reports that two Eastern European retailers, namely the Czech Alza and the Slovak Heureka still happily write that Shenmue I & II would launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (and likely the PC as well…) on August 21. It’s a Tuesday, so that would make sense…

Albeit these retailer dates could be far from the truth, Alza already listed the two games in September, way before the official announcement. Until now, all we knew that Ryo Hazuki and the others would arrive in 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Shenmue III is scheduled to launch in the second half of 2018 on PS4/PC, so the August launch for I & II would make sense.
