[E3 2018] After years of waiting the devs finally break the silence around Cyberpunk 2077 [VIDEO]

After five and a half years of speculations and waiting CD Projekt RED finally showed to the world what they are working on.

In 2013 the now famous Cyberpunk 2077 teaser got uploaded to YouTube – currently it has more than 12 million views. Since then the team behind the game released The Witcher III which got overwhelming praise from gamers and critics alike and it further pushed the hype around Cyberpunk 2077.

At the end of the Microsoft Press Conference yesterday CD Projekt RED surprised the gamers with a bombastic trailer. A trailer that finally gave us some clue about what this game is actually going to be. Especially because the devs purposefully hidden some informations in the trailer that can only be seen if you pause the trailer at the right frame.

This way we’ve got to learn that this game will going to be bigger and more grandiose than The Witcher III, players will be able to make and customize their character, and it will be and traditional single-player RPG with a heavy emphasis of narrative. Aside from these, there will be no microtransactions, but there will be big expansions that you have to pay for along with smaller free DLCs, just like in the case of The Witcher III. As for the PC version, there will be no DRM at all.

We don’t know the release date yet, but it’s more than possible that Cyberpunk 2077 will be one of the first cross-gen titles – there were rumors about this previously. What this means is that this game will probably release at the end of 2019, maybe early 2020. Therefore the possible platforms are the following: PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox (Next).
