[E3 2018] The Last Of Us Part II: Roughly A Dozen Minutes Of Gameplay Of Naughty Dog’s Anticipated Title [VIDEO]

Naughty Dog‘s game was one of the pillars of Sony’s E3 program.

Thus, it’s no wonder that it got a long video, and it also showed up on the PlayStation Blog with an article written by Neil Druckmann, the director of The Last of Us Part II. We learned that Ellie is 19 years old, and although she somewhat found peace in Jackson, it is „disrupted by a violent act, Ellie is thrust into a brutal journey of retribution, fueled by a need to bring those that have wronged her to justice, pushing her to her very limits.”

Her physical, emotional, and mental state will be expressed in the gameplay with the overhauled engine, new combat mechanics, a new analogue stealth system, and a revamped animation system, which will „fully express Ellie’s desperation, resourcefulness, and unique agility.” The world became bigger, more complex than before, and players will have more choice as well. It will be needed, because the human enemies will be more threatening and capable than in the first game, and they will „create intense, more dynamic stealth and head-on combat encounters.” Two new characters were also introduced. They are Dina (Shannon Woodward) and Jesse (Stephen Chang).

The Last of Us Part II has no release date yet. It’s a PlayStation 4-exclusive. The second video shows the first official track of the soundtrack, by Gustavo Santaolalla and his banjo.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
