Shuhei Yoshida’s Opinion Of The Games Rush Between September And February

The president of A Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios also talked about the development of Days Gone.

In the latest issue of Japanese publication Weekly Famitsu, there is an interview with Yoshida, and DualShockers quotes it. Yoshida expressed that the games made in Japan since around last year received a lot of praise around the world, and this tendency is continuing with Monster Hunter World, which made the franchise popular outside Japan, too.

„The rush of titles from September this year to February next year is tremendous. Besides, some games are regularly updated. I think it’s a situation in which I can’t play them all,” Yoshida said. He added that good games result in more players and that the gaming market’s size and depth can be felt.

Regarding Days Gone, he said that its development is going well, and – although we might have heard this before from him – it’s playable from start to end. It is now polished, and he hopes we’re waiting for Sony Interactive Entertainment Bend Studio’s game.

If one of the main people behind Sony says that there will be a games rush this year, we should believe him… (although our wallets won’t!)

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
