Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey Is Getting A Limited Edition Guide, Too! [VIDEO]

An AAA game getting a handbook is usual, but receiving a limited, more crafty edition than the ordinary one doesn’t tend to happen so often.

However, Prima Games thought that they should focus on Ubisoft‘s upcoming Assassin’s Creed game (which, despite the French company’s comments, doesn’t seem to release more rarely than they initially said after Origins last year – they are going back to annual releases…), and that’s why they are making a Platinum Edition for the game’s guide. Aside from the 352-page guide, which has a unique hardcover, oil and gloss accents, complementary endbands, and a satin ribbon bookmark, the guide comes in a collector’s case, and we will also get a 192-page, hardcover journal, a 22 ½” x 36” double-sided map poster, four 5” x 7” art prints (one of which exclusive to the Platinum Edition), as well as a certificate of authenticity. The guide also offers a code to access it digitally as well.

The guide will be available from November 2, and the Platinum Edition will cost a hundred dollars.

GameInformer will reveal several new details about the game, as it will be their September cover. The magazine’s cover will also bring exclusive footage and insider information from the Quebec studio to give us an insight into one of the biggest games of this Autumn. They hype us up with a trailer.

Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey will launch on October 5 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
