Layers Of Fear 2: Project Melies Was Just A Cover-Up! [VIDEO]

Gun Media released teaser videos for Project Melies in March and August, but it turned out to be a sequel to Layers of Fear after all!

Layers of Fear is a psychological horror game which launched in February 2016 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux, and it also received a Nintendo Switch port in February this year. Bloober Team ended up making Observer (which was alright) last year, and now they are returning to their previous franchise, as they are the developers of Layers of Fear 2.

The black-and-white announcement trailer that seems to imitate the films from a century ago doesn’t seem to reveal much more information, and since Gun Media and Bloober Team didn’t say anything else, all we can do now is wait for them to talk more about the game. (We don’t even know what it’s being developed for!)

If Layers of Fear 2 will be able to improve further the formula that Observer took a step higher than it is going to make the game a potential success when it launches. It could have been announced at Halloween, though…
