Agent seemed to be a significant PlayStation 3-exclusive in the past, but in the end, the game disappeared… and for good, it seems.
Back in 2007, Take-Two confirmed that Rockstar is working on a PlayStation 3-exclusive game. It was named at Sony’s E3 conference in 2009, and since then, we never saw the game see the light of the day, and now, if we can believe the new trademark update at USPTO in America, then it’s likely that we’ll never get to play Agent: Take-Two seems to have abandoned it altogether.
The reasoning behind this move is simple: Take-Two didn’t do anything with the trademark, which means the game, which showed up on the PS3 almost a decade ago, has long ceased its development, and it’s possibly been nearly three years since we mentioned this game, when an ex-Rockstar employee’s portfolio included images of Agent.
All we can do about this situation is GAME OVER – unless it gets revived, we’re reasonably confident that we have to bid farewell to Agent. It would be funny if THQ Nordic goes ahead and buys the rights!
