Is The New Brothers In Arms Still In Development?

Gearbox is now in some crossfire due to a lawsuit (between their CEO, Randy Pitchford, and their former lawyer – this situation is developing, which means it’s far from over), and they are seemingly busy with their unannounced but pretty much confirmed Borderlands 3. What about an older game of theirs?

Back in May, Pitchford responded to a fan asking about Brothers In Arms like this: „We are working on something. We’ve been working on it for a while and there are some awesome people involved and as it is developing I am starting to think it could be really good. I want to be sure before we announce. We have more work to do.” Previously, before Call of Duty: WWII was announced, he also teased something related to their older franchise (which started out in 2005 with Brothers In Arms: Road to Hill 30, and is also set in World War II). „You’re going to hate something we’re doing then,” Pitchford replied to Vlambeer’s Rami Ismail, who was disappointed in Call of Duty’s historical turn – this response also seems to tease something with the franchise which got its last game in 2014 on iOS and Android (?!) with Brothers In Arms 3: Sons of War, followed by a cancellation of the 4th main game.

We wonder, can they even work on something other than Borderlands 3? At least we have seen a few things of that project in the past few years…

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
