Comfort For Couch Potatoes: PC-Xbox One Streaming By Microsoft!

Now we have the chance to stream from our PC to our console.

The Wireless Display App allows us to stream our PC, or even our Android devices, to our television. The app supports the Xbox One controller, and we can stream presentations, videos, and photos across the service. However, some paid content, such as Netflix, is not allowed to be streamed, and also, the keyboard/mouse duo isn’t supported either. Still, streaming PC games to our console is amazing!

According to the official description, „instantly share photos you’ve just taken […] without having the photos sync through a cloud service, share video clips you’ve recorded with family and friends,” as well as „project your favourite websites with Microsoft Edge to the biggest screen in your house.”

The Xbox One > Windows 10 streaming has been a thing for years, but Microsoft now made its reversed form possible. The green team had some catching up to do here, but they at least came through!

Anikó, our news editor and communication manager, is more interested in the business side of the gaming industry. She worked at banks, and she has a vast knowledge of business life. Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
