Shadow of the Tomb Raider is updated on PC with ray tracing and DLSS

An improvement that brings the lighting of the game Crystal Dynamics to a new level.

Eidos Montreal, Nixxes and Nvidia have finally launched the patch that allows Shadow of the Tomb Raider to take advantage of a new graphic and visual border: that of ray tracing and compatibility with the DLSS. Of course, you’ll need a compatible Nvidia card, a recent Windows 10 update and drivers from version 419.35 of your RTX card to take advantage of the new technology.

Nvidia himself showed the benefits of ray tracing in the video game of Eidos Montreal a few months ago in a comparative video in which we could see the significant differences between a game using RTX technology and another one without it. this. This is not yet a technology available to all users, but its implementation in current games will help it to normalize in the future.

The Shadow of the Tomb Raider Patch 1.0.280 is applied after the start of the game on Steam. The third installment of Lara Croft’s contemporary trilogy was released on computer, Xbox One and PS4 on September 14th. Eidos Montreal ended the series launched by Crystal Dynamics.
