Avatar 2: Massive focuses his efforts on his new game after The Division 2

The next big Ubisoft project is focused on the James Cameron franchise.

The Division 2 has concluded its development successfully, and although it seems obvious that Massive Entertainment has left some developers in charge of the project to monitor it and continue working on the digital content that will be released in the coming months, it is time to aspire to new goals. The goal is called Avatar 2, the new Ubisoft video game inspired by future James Cameron films.

Massive was already working on the game for some time, but the Swedish company has opened its job pool to give a final push to their ranks, adding new signings to make the new video game of the series come true. The first, launched by Ubisoft itself in 2009, failed to live up to the expectations of the project. The sequel is expected to be very different.

Proof of this is the efforts the editor is making for the software: it was learned at the time that Ubisoft opened a studio in Stockholm that will help with the new Avatar, and putting Massive at the forefront of the project is in itself a true statement of intentions.
