Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s Director Is Confident About The Game!

Stig Asmussen, who previously was the director of God of War III at Sony Interactive Entertainment Santa Monica, doesn’t think that Respawn Entertainment will release a shoddy game.

WCCFTech has taken a few quotes from the Official PlayStation Magazine, in which Asmussen, who first confirmed the game’s existence in 2016 by saying Respawn is working on a third-person Star Wars game (which was then named by Vince Zampella, the CEO of Respawn, during EA Play 2018), said the following: „To say we’re a mash-up crew is an understatement, but everybody has a really high pedigree. When I come into work every day and I feel the vibe and I feel the energy in the studio and I actually get my hands on the controller and I see that we’re making something that’s really, really fun it makes me feel great, it lets me know we’re on the right track, and let me tell you I’m super-confident we’re onto something.”

He added that over time, they managed to assemble a veteran game development team for the game, which has been in development for three years: „That’s something you don’t really get to do very much in this industry. We had the ability to build slow and steady, and that’s something you never get to do in games. We picked up great veterans in the industry. People that worked on games like Uncharted, God Of War, Batman, BioShock, Metal Gear, and, of course, Titanfall and Call Of Duty.” This list includes the freelancer Chris Avellone as well, who worked about for a year on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. (And previously, he praised Asmussen for his work!)

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will launch on November 15 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The first gameplay will be shown in June at this year’s EA Play.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
