Control System Requirements: Remedy Softens Them – Much Better Now!

A GTX 1060 among the minimum A GTX 1060 among the minimum Control system requirements? It is a thing of the past.

A few weeks ago, Remedy Entertainment unveiled the minimum and recommended of Control system requirements, and were not a few who frowned at them: a 1060 GTX minimum? A recommended GTX 1080 Ti to play 1080p? Luckily, it has been a false alarm. The company has already updated the system requirements for the PC version on the official website, and they are now much smoother than before.

We remind you that Control is out on August 27 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (where it will be an Epic Games Store exclusive). It will put us in the shoes of Jesse Faden, a Director with supernatural powers who will fight to regain control of a strange and constantly changing world.

Minimum requirements (updated)

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690 / AMD FX 4350

GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 / AMD Radeon R9 280X

RAM: 8GB

OS: Windows 7, 64bit

DirectX: DX11

 

Recommended requirements (updated)

CPU: Intel Core i5-7600K / AMD Ryzen 5 1600X

GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660/1060 / AMD Radeon RX 580

Ray-tracing GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060

RAM: 16GB

OS: Windows 10, 64-bit

DirectX: DX12
