Is Blizzard Planning Three Announcements For BlizzCon 2019?

Blizzard seems to focus on restoring its good name if the rumour is true about this third title.

Yesterday, we already wrote about how Blizzard is planning to announce both Diablo 4 and Diablo 2’s remaster. We’ll get back to the former game, but first, let’s get into Overwatch 2, which was mentioned already a day ago. The same person that discussed the rumour has written the following on Twitter: „The cinematic [announcement trailer of Overwatch 2] will feature a lot of heroes. The main ones are Mei, Tracer, and Winston with young Genji appearing. [The] Overwatch logo will appear, then the 2 is gonna be added at the very end. [The] crowd goes wild, [and] Jeff gets on stage. (I don’t know about when Jeff will show up.)” By Jeff, he means Jeff Kaplan, the director of Overwatch. If Overwatch gets a sequel, if he showed up, that would make sense. (And then, it’s possibly going to be a cross-gen game, especially if Blizzard wants to release it as fast as possible, meaning it would not only on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC but the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Project Scarlett as well.)

Let’s get back to Diablo 4, which we’ll call Diablo IV from now on. The German GameStar magazine had its first signs, and there’s also a German Amazon listing that even names two authors. The art book, featuring artwork from even Diablo IV, is authored by Jake Gerli, and Robert Brooks, a senior writer at Blizzard, is also credited.

BlizzCon is less than two weeks away, and Diablo IV is all but confirmed at this point. Overwatch 2 is a rumour for now, but it might get announced at this event, which will likely be chaotic.
