Cyberpunk 2077: Keanu Reeves Is Getting Action Figures

Cyberpunk 2077 – McFarlane Toys will make action figures based on the video game, which in turn is based on a tabletop RPG…

Cyberpunk 2077 – without a doubt – is one of the most anticipated games of 2020. We barely see games from CD Projekt RED, but when they push one out, it becomes memorable even after several years (The Witcher’s trilogy is still performing incredibly well: the other day, we discussed how The Witcher 3’s player count on Steam was on the same level as Red Dead Redemption 2, despite Geralt’s game being almost five years old!), and we hope that Cyberpunk 2077 will also be on the same level, making us play the game again via a physical copy, Steam, or GOG a few years from now.

CD Projekt trusts in the success, so McFarlane Toys is already making action figures. There will be a 7″ Johnny Silverhand figure, complete with a guitar, a bottle, and an easy-to-recognize hand gesture (and remember, Keanu Reeves gave his looks, voice, and motion capture work for this character in the game!), as well as 12″ version. However, it is more of a statue, but the bigger Johnny will have a guitar nevertheless. If that’s not enough, there is going to be a 7″ male V figure, too, which is somewhat weird, as Cyberpunk 2077 will have a character creator. The 7″ figures, both with 22 points of articulation, will cost 25 dollars each. The 12″ Johnny figure is going to cost 40 dollars.

Cyberpunk 2077 launches on April 16 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store…), followed by a Google Stadia port later that year. The multiplayer component will follow at a later date, and we can also possibly expect a PlayStation 5 and a next-gen Xbox (Xbox Series X model) version, too.
