PlayStation Plus: May Games Leaked?

We have seen this in the previous month as well, and then, we placed our bets correctly – we may have learned early what the PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive in a week.

Regarding the PlayStation Plus’ April freebies, we knew in late March what they will be before Sony revealed them on April 1 (which is somewhat unfortunate, but that is the Wednesday before the month’s first Tuesday… unlucky timing), giving DiRT Rally 2.0 and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End to those who play a lot of cash to play online multiplayer on their PlayStation 4s. We might be in a similar situation. The ResetEra forums brought up an image that we will show below.

If it’s true, then the first game is going to be Dying Light by Techland. Okay, it’s a five-year-old game by now, but it’s not only the unofficial Dead Island 2 (as Techland was the creator of the series, while the real Dead Island 2 is nowhere to be seen, and Dambuster Studios now openly mentions in its job listings that the game is not only planned for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, but also the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X…), but it’s also something that has been constantly updated over the time, so it’s a fair deal. (Then again, it’s likely given away because of a delay – Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End was followed by its film adaptation pushed to July 2021 due to the coronavirus, and Dying Light 2 comes at an unknown date.)

The other game could be Dark Souls Remastered. This can raise a few eyebrows: this game in its original format launched about nine years ago, and FromSoftware’s game’s current-gen re-release is also potentially something that most of the fans of the franchise or the genre have already played.

However, none of this is official at the moment – we’ll find it out on Wednesday… but since the March titles (Shadow of the Colossus, Sonic Forces) also leaked correctly, we have high hopes.
