Jin Sakai must leave behind his teachings as a samurai to become the Ghost of Tsushima and hunt down his enemies.

Summer looks livelier than ever with the great releases that await us. Games like Ghost of Tsushima , the long-awaited adventure of Sucker Punch for PS4 that, after the changes of recent dates, will now arrive in mid-July. But for us to sharpen the Katana during these dates, PlayStation has published this video that delves into Jin Sakai and its history.

Jin Sakai is the samurai who stars in Ghost of Tsushima, a warrior trained by his uncle Shimura, the ruler of the island and raised from a young age on the path of the sword. However, waves of invaders from Mongolia will force him to separate himself from his teacher’s teachings, and devise new ways to deal with the fearsome enemy looming over Tsushima.

Honourable battles are behind, now it’s time for stealth and deception, Jin Sakai’s best allies on this journey that will take him throughout the Tsushima region. A mission in search of reinforcements, and unusual alliances, that allows him to destroy the Mongol leader Khotun Kan. This same week Sucker Punch promised new details of the gameplay of Ghost of Tsushima soon, so it seems that we will see some of these things shortly, in anticipation of its release.

Without further ado, we remind you that the new release date for Ghost of Tsushima is July 17. A game that has been described by the studio as its biggest adventure to date, and one that already surprised quite a bit with an exciting trailer at The Game Awards 2019. But until then, and in case you have missed some of the PlayStation news in recent times, we remind you that recently there were reports about a Horizon Zero Dawn 2 with plans to make a trilogy.
