Cyberpunk 2077: The Witcher 3’s Sword Will Be In The Game [VIDEO]

And our car will be similar to Roach, Geralt’s horse.

Towards the end of the 2015-released action-RPG, you can find a solid sword: Aerondight gets stronger with you – as you level up, it also gains more power. Now, Aerondight will also be in Cyberpunk 2077, but not as a weapon… or not as a weapon you’d believe. This Easter egg was found on Reddit.

Yes, Aerondight is going to be a car. So – unless you plan to run over people with it – it’s not going to be a weapon. We don’t know if it will be available in the game yet, but via this advertisement, it’s confirmed to be in Cyberpunk 2077. Speaking of Easter eggs, Judy Alvarez, the head of the Mox gang, will have a Radiohead tattoo. (And, as a bonus, you can pet the cat in the game. Everyone deserves a treat and/or reward.)

Your car will be similar to Roach in The Witcher 3. By pressing a button, it will pull up to you, honking to notify you that it has arrived. You can call for cars in the open world, similarly to the Saints Row series, Grand Theft Auto V, or Scarface: The World Is Yours. The third-person view when you drive it will be slightly fish-eyed to give you an added sense of power and speed. You can also customize and tune it a la Need For Speed Underground. (We wouldn’t be surprised if CD Projekt RED will include racing mini-games…)

Cyberpunk 2077, which Chinese Tencent has started to copy with SYN, is going to launch on November 19 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Google Stadia might also get it around that time, and the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X will support it from day 1. However, the next-gen patch will only arrive in 2021. Maybe earlier than that.
