Development of the second episode of Final Fantasy VII Remake has begun

An article in Famitsu provides the first details of the highly anticipated Square Enix video game.

The first chapter of Final Fantasy VII Remake ended up meeting the expectations of fans of the legendary episode of Squaresoft on PlayStation. However, everyone was left wanting to know when they would meet again with Cloud and the rest in the long-awaited second episode. There is no answer to this question, but it has been known thanks to Famitsu that its development has begun and the plan of its producer, Yoshinori Kitase , is to launch it “as soon as possible”.

From the Nova Crystallis website, the statements of the developers have been translated, in which Kitase explains that “we know that everyone wants the next installment soon. We would also like to get it as soon as possible. We hope to be able to grant a second part that exceeds the first in quality, with an experience that is even better than the play. I think we can speak clearly about the direction the project will take as soon as the second episode is announced. ”

It seems that the project is taking shape and Square Enix could dare to give a definitive figure for the parts that will compose Final Fantasy VII Remake as soon as the second episode is shown. Chapter in which it seems that one of the new characters in the recreation of the classic, Roche, will have a participation: he had planned an appearance in chapter 14 that ended up being discarded, so it is likely that he will return in the future.

The remake, one of the most desired and expected video games by the wide community of the Final Fantasy saga, came true on April 10, 2020 exclusively for PS4. It is expected to land on other platforms on a date to be determined in 2021. Do not hesitate to read the analysis of Final Fantasy VII Remake to know what you will find at your controls.
