Panzer Dragoon: Remake: Flying Dragons On A PlayStation 4 And PC Near You Shortly

MegaPixel Studios-developed Panzer Dragoon: Remake will soon launch on two more platforms on top of the two it’s already available on.

Forever Entertainment has already published Panzer Dragoon: Remake on Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia, but according to the statement by the developer and the publisher, the game is going to launch shortly on PlayStation 4 and PC (where it will be available on both Steam and GOG). Those who want to play the game on the Xbox One will have to wait a little longer, as Microsoft’s console will receive Panzer Dragoon: Remake „a little bit later.” The game launched on March 26 on Nintendo Switch and on June 1 on Google Stadia, respectively.

„A new, remade version of the Panzer Dragoon game—true to the original, with improved graphics and controls, that suit modern gaming standards! On a far, lone planet, you encounter two dragons awaken from the ancient times. Armed with a deadly gun from the past, and the guidance of your armoured blue dragon, you must fulfil your destiny and keep the Prototype Dragon from reaching the Tower or die trying.

Pilot through seven unbelievably realistic levels ranging from tropical blue ocean cities to intricate subterranean ruins. Fight the Prototype Dragon who appears together with evil giant dragonflies, frightening man-sized wasps, giant sandworms, and lethal flying battleships. Attack approaching from all sides enemies quickly and without mercy, with improved 360-degree controls and lock-on targeting,” Nintendo’s overview reads.

Panzer Dragoon originally launched on the SEGA Saturn in 1995, but Japan also got a PC port in 1997 and a PS2 version in 2006, respectively. 2002’s Panzer Dragoon Orta on the Xbox also included the original as a bonus. It’s a rail shooter, similar to what Polyphony Digital did in 1999 on PS1 with Omega Boost.
