PlayStation Plus: The November Line-Up

The arrival of the PlayStation 5 somewhat throws a spanner into the usual things.

So far, we got used to the somewhat disappointing fact of having only two games on the PlayStation 4 for being a PlayStation Plus subscriber per month. Now, the new console’s arrival changes up things a bit. The PlayStation 4 users will get two games, namely Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, and Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition. These two titles will be available from November 3 until November 30. For the PlayStation 5-owners, Bugsnax‘ PS5 version will be available from November 12 (or November 19 in Europe). Young Horses writes history: their game will be the first PlayStation 5 title ever to be on PlayStation Plus. Attention: this game is only free for Plus members until January 4, 2021!

Previously, Sony announced that the PlayStation Plus Collection will be an additional extra for the subscribers. This is a list of several PlayStation 4 titles that will be backwards compatible and available for the subs without paying additional fees. The games from Sony Interactive Worldwide Studios include Bloodborne, Days Gone, Detroit: Become Human, God of War, InFAMOUS Second Son, Ratchet and Clank, The Last Guardian, The Last of Us Remastered, Until Dawn, and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

The third-party titles include Batman: Arkham Knight, Battlefield 1, Call of Duty: Black Ops III – Zombies Chronicles Edition, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Fallout 4, Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition, Monster Hunter: World, Mortal Kombat X, Persona 5, and Resident Evil 7 biohazard. These games are not their PlayStation 5 versions, keep in mind: they are all in their PlayStation 4 format, with possibly greatly reduced loading times, and a better frame rate for instance, thanks to Game Boost.

So the PlayStation Plus subscribers get more than two games… if they get a PlayStation 5.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
