Godfall: After The PlayStation 5 Flop, Is It Heading To PlayStation 4?

The Pan-European Game Information (or PEGI for short) has revealed the plans of Counterplay Games and Gearbox Publishing (which itself now belongs to Embracer Group).

So on PEGI’s page, we see that after the PC and PlayStation 5 ratings for Godfall that both happened in November, the game got rated for PlayStation 4. It means that the game (which uses the fast loading times thanks to the PS5’s SSD) is going to be ported to the 2013 Sony console, hoping that it’d get better recognition than on PlayStation 5 (all we say is that its Metacritic score is currently on 61/100, which is quite weak).

Here is an overview of the game, via Gearbox Publishing: „Godfall is a first-of-its-kind, looter-slasher, melee action RPG. Aperion is on the precipice of ruin. You are the last of the Valorian knights, god-like warriors able to equip Valorplates, legendary armor sets that transform wielders into unstoppable masters of melee combat. Tear through foes as you climb through the elemental realms and challenge the mad god, Macros who awaits you at the top.

Adventure across exotic vistas, from the above-ground reefs of the Water Realm to the subterranean crimson forests of the Earth Realm. Master all five weapon classes, each with unique playstyles and a variety of longswords, polearms, warhammers, greatswords, and dual blades. Level up, learn new skills, and uncover legendary weapons with devastating effects on the battlefield. Unlock 12 Valorplates: Divine, Zodiac-inspired suits of armor that empower you to shred every enemy between you and Macros. Test your skills in the Tower of Trials and challenge yourself against the toughest foes and earn top-tier loot. Fight solo, or alongside friends with three-player player-versus-enemy online co-op play,” Gearbox wrote.

Godfall’s PlayStation 4 port wasn’t announced yet, and now, it seems we are close to it. How much loading will it need without the SSD?
