This is what GoldenEye 007 looks like with the Far Cry 5 engine! [VIDEO]

In the absence of a remake of GoldenEye 007, a fan has recreated the mythical game with the Far Cry 5 editor.

Many of you probably have fond memories of GoldenEye 007, one of the most beloved games on Nintendo 64. It is true that the James Bond adventure has had an occasional adaptation over the years, but there are many who would like a new one. a version of the mythical shooter with a more modern visual finish and gameplay more typical of the current era. For this reason, there are already those who have taken “justice into their own hands” and have taken advantage of resources to do it at home.

We can see it on the Krollywood channel on YouTube. This user has been inspired by the Rare game and has recreated his missions to be practically identical to those of GoldenEye 007, using nothing more than the Far Cry 5 level editor. The result, as you can see in the video, it is an authentic past, and with the comparative sequences, we can see how it has traced it. Surely this fan was very upset to learn that Far Cry 6 will not have a level editor.

It is not the first time that the community has been inspired by GoldenEye 007 to honour it in different ways. We already saw something similar with the Far Cry 3 editor a few years ago, or even adapted to VR thanks to the benefits of Half Life Alyx .

To keep the flame of the British spy alive, we remind you that Project 007 is in development, a new game with a license to kill developed by IO Interactive and that it is probably a trilogy. Although for now, we will have to wait to know new details and, above all, if it will approach the legendary N64 game.
