You Can Now Play Star Citizen for Free!

Star Citizen, the long-awaited space simulator, will be available in a free version for one week. As on other occasions, Cloud Imperium will make several test ships available to players.

Could Imperium give users the possibility to download a free version of the influential space simulator? Star Citizen is one of the most significant projects the industry has experienced in history. The futuristic space simulator managed to exceed 350 million in revenues and has more than three million players who have achieved this impressive achievement of collective financing.

A little less than a couple of months ago, Could Imperium introduced numerous new features that have once again improved the game, with changes to combat and detailed volumetric clouds. The Star Citizen team has offered players the latest alpha version, version 3.14.0, for free for those who want to join the space adventure.

Players will have access to six ships, each with its characteristics and allowing new users to try the different games available. You can enjoy this free-play period until next August 27. During this period, the starter packages will also have a series of discounts for those who decide to stay.

Users will have at their disposal the following warehouses :

  • Anvil Arrow: Focused on bringing order to the system
  • MISC Prospector: For the extraction of valuable minerals
  • Crusader Mercury Star Runner: Perfect for interstellar smuggling
  • Consolidated Outland Mustang Alpha: Sleek and stylish
  • Origin 100i: Maximum performance vehicle
  • RSI Aurora MR: Versatile and off-road

The space simulator has always sought to go further in an ambitious project, as we have rarely seen in the industry. Part of this project goes through his campaign, Squadron 42, in which well-known actors such as Mark Hamill and Gary Oldman are involved, although we will still have to wait to see more of it.
