Little Nightmares 2 gets an upgrade – dubbed Enhanced Edition – for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S

The console version of Little Nightmares 2 has recently received an update, which gives the players who own the new generational consoles even more to marvel and be scared of while playing the fun little horror game.

 

While Little Nightmares 2 was released in 2021 February, and the development team has been bought by the Embracer Group (formerly Nordic Games), it seems they are still working on the game in some capacity, as this free upgrade gives the following boost to the game:

  • Provides RayTracing
  • Improved Volumetric Shadows
  • Visual addition of interactive particles
  • 1 and 7.1 audio update
  • 4K Support
  • Beauty mode provides 30FPS and 4K
  • Performance mode provides: 60FPS with dynamic resolution up to 4K
