Diablo 2 Resurrected is out tomorrow, on the 23rd of September 2021, and in honour of that release date, Blizzard has just released a live-action trailer starring none other than the star of Shang-Chi.
Diablo 2 Resurrected is not just a simple remaster, but a remaster that had a lot of work, with gameplay changes, balancing changes, and even old things fixed in the old game. It includes the base game and Lord of Destruction, so players will be able to enjoy all five acts.
As one big final push for the marketing of the remaster, Blizzard has released a trailer starring Simu Liu, who, let’s just say, goes to a confessional and wants to go on a rampage. Once in the confessional, Simu Liu sits down with a priest and confesses that he requires forgiveness for the sins he is about to commit.
However, in order to complete the tasks ahead of him, he will need to succumb to greed to obtain the power he desires to kill his enemies. As the lighting slowly changes to a dark red, the trailer ends with Liu submitting to his inner darkness, and the Diablo 2: Resurrected logo flashes on screen in flames.
Quite a neat trailer and fun with some tiny flashes of CGI from the game and a small gameplay snippet from the remaster.
Diablo 2 Resurrected is out on the 23rd of September 2021 for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch.
